Chelsea Bates is a licensed, ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist and Board Certified Specialist in Child Language and Language Disorders. Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Nebraska- Lincoln. Chelsea is currently working in the pediatric rehabilitation department for Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. Prior to this, Chelsea worked in the public school systems serving preschool and school aged students in both Pleasanton, CA and Lincoln, NE. Chelsea's areas of clinical interest include: treatment of phonological processing impairments in highly unintelligible children, school-aged language impairments, gestalt language processing, neurodiversity affirming practice for Autistic children, and early intervention with an emphasis on parent coaching.
