Schreiber is a consultant, author, and publisher in the area of speech-language pathology. Her early experiences in the field were gained in a public school setting, working with students, age three to 21. For the past 30 years, she has played a supportive role to speech-language pathologists by providing access to high-quality resources and information. She has authored, edited, and directed numerous projects and publications in the areas of phonology, language, literacy, phonological awareness, and adolescent language disorders, including authoring and editing curriculum for students with moderate-to-severe disabilities. She currently provides consultation to authors and publishing companies — always advocating for high-quality and evidence-based materials for the students served in this field. She operates her consulting business — Linda R. Schreiber & Associates — and publishing company — The Cognitive Press in Wisconsin. In addition, she has created and provided professional development activities in the area of language, including the annual Nancy McKinley Lecture Series.
