Kara Nunn, MS, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL
Kara Nunn is a clinical instructor in the Division of Speech and Language Pathology at Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, where she teaches and supervises graduate and undergraduate SLP students. She has served on New York State and local committees supporting professionals and students.
Ms. Nunn’s clinical experience encompasses early intervention and preschool populations, public school populations (grades 6-12), and post-21 transitioning. She has dedicated her professional career to evaluating and treating individuals with diverse communication needs. She has extensive experience working with adolescent students evaluating, treating and consulting with clients, families and educators to treat childhood language and literacy disorders specific to: expository disorders, language-learning disabilities, and supporting literacy through written language intervention. She is PROMPT trained and Hanen Certified. Ms. Nunn has a holistic approach to treatment as an advocate, teacher, consultant, and mentor. Client and family goals are a primary focus of therapy sessions.
