Alisha P. Springle, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-CL

Dr. Springle is an Assistant Professor in the new Speech Language Pathology program in the Vera Z. Dwyer College of Health Science at Indiana University – South Bend.  She has many years of experience working as an SLP with preschool-age 22 public school students in the Midwest and on the East Coast. Her doctoral degree is in Special Education, with an emphasis in Child Language. She has specific interests in systematic and consistent use of multisensory intervention methods and the comorbidity of Childhood Apraxia of Speech with learning disorders. She is the founding SLP of IUSB’s clinical program of therapeutically-applied role-playing games for language and social skill development.
