Margo Kinzer Courter is a speech-language pathologist, an author, national presenter/consultant, and adjunct faculty member specializing in language based literacy and learning disorders -especially the focus on vocabulary for speaking and academic success as well as building background and world knowledg. She is the author of Here’s How Children Learn Speech and Language: A Text on Different Learning Strategies as well as Collaboration Among Teachers and Speech-Language Pathologist, and See It & Say It Visual Phonics Program. She is a board certified specialist in child language and language disorders. She is the 2013 recipient of the Nancy McKinley Leadership and Mentoring Award from OSSPEAC, the 2016 Distinguished Teaching and Outstanding Contribution to the Education Profession from the Bureau of Education and Research, and the 2019 Honors of the Association from the Indiana Speech-Language, and Hearing Association. She is honored to serve the children and families who are impacted by a speech and language disorders and learning difficulties.
